During anti-bullying week there will be a range of events taking place throughout school. These will include focused assemblies, circle time as well as drama role play and poster designing competitions. These activities are designed to raise the profile of the anti-bullying campaign.
The week will end with 'blue day' where the children are invitied to wear something blue to school. 'Blue day' will culminate with a blue balloon release (don't worry they are biodegradable!) At the 3pm the children will gather on the yard and watch the balloons being released, each balloon with have attached an anti-bullying message that the children have personally written. If anyone happens to find one of the balloons it would be great if you could contact the school or leave a message on the website.

Well done on your anti bullying work.
Have you told Don Sweeny, Healthy School Consultant?
Have you considered applying for the Gateshead Schools Anti Bullying Award?
