Year 5 learned more about Hinduism from Kirtida at the temple in Newcastle. Dressing up, playing instruments, hearing stories, asking questions...all helped to make a fun and informative morning!
The afternoon was spent at Mr Belton's church where we focussed on how the church helps the local community and how the beautiful stained-glass windows help worshippers.
A great day had by all!

It was great fun. We learned lots of things. We got some mehndi patterns painted on our hands or faces.

It was fab and well worth going to thats the thing about having Mr Belton for your teacher he always books brill trips for you and your classmates!!*
