Year Six 2009

Year Six are settling in well to their new classroom, routines and responsibilities! Mrs Wallis teaches the class History and R.E. on a Tuesday morning, when they are learning about world exploration and Sikhism. In Science the class have begun a topic called 'Interdependence and Adaptation', which will be followed by 'Micro-organisms'. In ICT the children have started to improve their skills in multimedia presentation, which will involve making an alphabet slideshow for a Reception child. The topic is 'People in Action' in Art, and the class will be producing pictures of figures in motion.
Year Six are enjoying PE lessons with professional coaches Billy, for basketball, and Kevin, for tag rugby.

And of course the class are thoroughly looking forward to working with their Reception partners AND visiting Robinwood Centre in October!
