Y5 put on a spectacular show!

Year 5 presented their end of year class assembly today. It was an exciting production of drama and music telling the Legend of Callipateira. Mrs Latham was very proud of all the children.

The play is set in Greece at the Ancient Olympic Games. Only men were allowed to compete. Girls and unmarried women could attend, but not married women. However, one married woman, Callipateira, wanted to go to the Olympic Games to help her son. She disguised herself but got found out!

The choir sang beautifully, telling the story through song.
