A Squash and a Squeeze
Who were these characters seen getting on the bus with Year One?
Year One had a fabulous time at Seven Stories on Wednesday 18th April. The children visited the Julia Donaldson exhibition, ‘A Squash and a Squeeze’, and took part in a story telling workshop. The class looked at original artwork from some of Julia’s books, listened to some of her amazing stories, such as ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ and ‘Jack and the Flum Flum Tree’, met the Gruffalo and dressed up as various interesting characters.
The behaviour of the children was excellent and Mrs Dillon, Mrs Hodgson, Mrs Boath and Mrs Thompson were very proud of them!
