Year 6

Welcome to Year 6!

Wow, Year 6 – what an exciting and memorable year it is! Our children enjoy a wide range of fantastic opportunities and engaging topics, including The Industrial Revolution, The Americas (with a special focus on El Salvador), and of course, our much-anticipated residential trip to Robinwood – a definite highlight of the year.

Year 6 at Parochial has two main aims:

1. To prepare children for a smooth and confident transition to secondary school,
2. To support them through their SATs in a way that minimises stress and allows them to showcase their brilliant skills.

We take great pride in the fact that our pupils leave Parochial fully prepared for the Key Stage 3 curriculum and equipped with strong values that will support them on the journey ahead.
